Little house in the big city… or where to find firewood in NYC

Joanna from Cup of Jo asked a very good question about that last post: where does a girl get firewood in NYC? I looked around and it seems a girl calls the NYC Firewood Co. at 212.876.3996 and, for around $99, procures enough wood to fill a decorative fireplace…

    $99! Wow! Sometimes living in Northern Ontario really does have its perks! Last season we paid $80 for enough wood for 2 winters But you do get NYC in return though so I guess we’re even :)

    haha, i thought $99 was a great deal. i guess you get warped when you live in NYC.

    also abbey did you see the fireplace story in the dec/jan domino? they had three ideas of how to decorate a non-working fireplace: a) wallpaper, b) paint with sculptures and c) mirrors.

    i still like the wood best, though!
