English Creek Gardens $39 - 189

I’ve had terrariums on the mind recently…such tiny magical worlds of green.

These are from Smith & Hawken ($39, $49)

Here’s a great online resouce for plants suited to terrariums (and they ship!).

I’ll try to find a good how to and post it later…

I have been eyeing these things up for the longest time! i just think they are delicate, unique, and would make the best present. I am going to have to make one.

Another win, and something that is so you. I love the terrariums for their delicacy and intrigue. Growing up as a botanist’s daughter, some of my earliest memories are of terrariums and bigger tanks full of lively green muck. Good memories! Great posting. Thank you!

Like many others - I love these. But I am afraid I would mes them up. I’ve been thinking about purchasing a nice little topiary for some more green in my bedroom, though.

I can’t think of the name of those plants in that shorter terrarium in the last picture, but we have some in my Mother’s garden - hen something? Oh — Hen-and-Chick! They’re so cute and have a sense of some sort of magical fairy land. (Which always appeals to me.)
