Year of Flowers: 2

This week I’m loving green parrot tulips — something I’ve always admired, but never purchased.
(Reason 2,118 I love NYC: parrot tulips, $8 on the street).
UPDATE: Here’s another shot of the flowers as they opened. Also, and this doesn’t quite qualify as a “tip” but I’ve been using Brita water (filtered water) for this arrangement and the water is staying SO much clearer. If I use straight tap water, the water gets slimy and cloudy in 24 hours. The filtered water is still clear after 3 days! I personally hate dirty water in arrangements and I hate changing the water everyday, so this has been an awesome discovery on my part.

maybe flowers in NCY but here in the woods- wind took down line and it is March. Even in NYC Friday night a miserable time to be out and about.
But have planted tulips. Angelique- look like peonies bur are the mors perfect tulip. Planned 50 maybe the chipmucks will leave me a few!

Yes, they are absolutely gorgeous. I love the yellows and greens together — perfect for spring (and we’re almost there)!!

The term is used colloquially for any kind of Linkback. This is similar to comment spam but avoids some of the safeguards designed…
