Year of Flowers: 9 & 10

I was so busy with end of term last week I didn’t even have a moment to buy a bouquet. So this week, I had double the fun. The freshia smell amazing. The vase I bought years ago with Sylvia at the Norwich Farmer’s Market. All Year of Flowers bouquets here.

Great memory!! Remember stopping at that garden store on the way back from Woodstock (the one with fake cows stuck in the grass all over the hillside) and both of us nearly falling prey to inexplicably heavy teal ceramic containers? I suppose they were for mini gardens, but they looked like giant kleenex boxes.

I remember jetting out of there, pedal to the metal, feeling like we’d narrowly escaped a pair of albatrosses.

So I’m spending my Saturday night in a particularly bleak corner of the third floor of Dana Biomedical Library…and the power just went out. Just me and the rain falling on the skylight. Let’s not talk about how exciting my life is these days…
