Inspiration: Sweet peas and origami boxes

Two years after my wedding, I still subscribe to Martha Stewart Weddings. Why, you ask. I love to throw parties and it is one of the best resources for entertaining ideas I’ve found. The best advice I received while planning my wedding was that it was not the only party I was going to have and to leave some of the more expensive touches for more intimate parties in my future.

These beautiful arrangements from this month’s Martha Stewart Weddings are a perfect example of what I love about the magazine — these are simple and inexpensive but still very glamorous. I’d love to use this for the next dinner party I have. The “vases” are origami boxes with four inch plastic plant liners inside. Large box is $4 and the small is $2 (you’ll have to call to order).
