Interior Design, 17th Century Style

Made in the 17th century for Petronella Oortman, a wealthy Amsterdam lady, I’d argue that this was where she stored some of her ideas about interiors she loved (similar to the blogworld, or our clipping files). As much as we’re different we are the same. More here.

I think you are right about the doll’s house being a way to express the owners own dreams! It is so important to express our own inner dreams, even if it is in a seemigly scaled down way!
