Vintage Find: Green Desk

Top of my wish list for the apartment right now?  This green desk at Paula Rubenstein, 65 Prince Street. This shop might be my favorite place in the world, at least this week.  Ms. Rubenstein carries a pitch perfect collection of vintage goods (blankets, perfect coastal landscapes, funky Bakelite place settings, old photographs) in perfect condition.

OOohh!! I adore it! What do you think the sideways handles are for at the top? Are they narrow drawers or do they pull out to be something else, I wonder?

Most things with this many drawers are my fantasy, but this is particularly lovely. Thanks for a lovely post!

This is one of my favorite shops too! Not only is the shop fabulous, but Paula Rubinstein just a lovely woman herself. We went into the store and ended up chatting with her for about 45 minutes. Just the perfect shop owner. The desk is fantastic.

I love that store as well. It’s fun just to browse forever, even if I can’t afford most of it!
