WEIRD. I was in London this weekend and just yesterday afternoon I was flipping through that book, along with the London and NYC versions, at a Waterstone’s in Kensington. Very fun.
I totally want to find a copy of this book en francais!I know someone who picked up a free vintage copy at the book thing in baltimore where you never know what you’re going to find, but it’s always free. i was SO jealous.
i love sasek. i have two vintage books of his (paris and new york) and one new (london) which is rather badly printed compared to the 1960’s edition. i think he was a genius and his style is still fresh and inovative.
