Inspiration: Flower Power

My mom is a member of the Hillsborough Garden Club, a group of wonderful women who share a passion for gardening. I was once lucky enough to attend a meeting and was impressed with their creativity and knowledge. One of their recent projects was to design flower arrangements recreating famous paintings as table arragements. I think is a brilliant idea and one I’d like to try my hand at! My mother’s arrangement is above, and a few others are below. Pure inspiration! See them all here.

The woman who made this arrangement above actually MADE the porcelain tea cup and sugar bowl to match the painting. Amazing.

This woman is a great collector of Asian art and these are from her collection. Beautiful.

    These are amazing! I wish we had garden clubs like these in NYC…
