Year of Flowers: 23

I’ve been shopping the Green Market in Union Square recently and decided to start buying my weekly flowers there since it is both a more ecological choice (cut flowers are hard on the environment evidently) and cheaper to boot.  I was able to buy three huge bouquets for $15.  Nice. You know I adore your year-of-flowers concept. I think it’s grand.

As far as I’m concerned, the Union Sq. market can’t be beat for its fresh cut flowers (although the Thursday and Sunday market on the Upper West Side is offering some stiff competition.)
