The Chocolate Peanut Butter Diaries

My obsession with the combination of chocolate and peanut butter is well documented on this blog, and I have the next installment today: Purely Decadent’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl. I’m not one to use the term “off the hook” but somehow the term applies here. IT IS THE MOST DELICIOUS THING I’VE EATEN IN A LONG TIME. As an added bonus, it is organic, dairy free (but you’d NEVER know it) and about half the fat of my favorite haagen-dazs flavor. I am stockpiling it in my freezer against the day they stop making it (which happened with my favorite chocolate peanut butter flavor from Ben and Jerry’s so it can happen people, it can happen).
PS: My macbook pro charger cord melted down/burned up spectacularly last night — it was nothing short of scary.

lol @ off the hook. Loves it. I will be on the look out for this especially because it’s dairy free.

Oh that is scary with a capital S! (The mac book cord but also the idea of your favorite flavor disappearing.) This looks positively delish and is going on the shopping list, stat. You’ve also just reminded me that it’s been quite some time since I’ve devoured my own fave, Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. Not that I haven’t made up for it with Friendly’s ice cream sundaes at least twice a week for the last few months. What am I doing!? I think the baby is craving the calcium… yes, yes, that’s it…

Purely Decadent coconut milk Peanut Butter Swirl is absolutely my favorite ice cream ever! I’m so glad to see that someone else likes it as much as I do, because I’d be devastated if they stopped making it.

Mmmmm….I love PB & Chocolate, too (31 Flavors comes to mind with their big peanut butter chunks). Now, I am going to have to find me some!

Um, that sounds INSANELY good! I am going to have to keep an eye out for it. And sorry to hear about the charger– that is scary! My mom’s pc laptop cord caught fire a couple months ago, and she said it was a wild sight to see too!

I’m psyched that someone else has the same exact obsession as me! Chocolate + PB = a true miracle on Earth
I am really excited to try the new brand b/c I can’t sit down with a pint of Haagen Daaz and not eat the entire thing.
