I love a good before/after shot

This tale of removing red sharpie marker from a couch is impressive. The first thing I thought when I saw all those scribbles is “I bet that was fun.” Found via the good folks at Ohdeedoh.

Haha!!
“I bet that was fun!”
Love it.
We just put our old couch on the street… now I wish we had taken out the sharpies and vented a little.

Boy-o-boy. I bet that caused a minor heart attack when it was discovered.

when I was a little kid my aunt was watching me and I went into the other room and got really quiet which was unusual so she came in to check on me. I had covered myself from head to toe in pen and she asked me “Samantha why did you do this?” and I said “you shouldn’t leave pens around little children”. It’s good to know that that’s a plan b if the kids get to the furniture but keep those pens up high!!

My worst nightmare!
I have all leather couches – although I would much prefer not to – for just this reason. Although I don’t believe anything can clean ballpoint pen off of leather.

Oh, this makes me feel so much better about my life! I just spent the evening cleaning ground-in eyeliner from the carpet in three rooms. Sharpie is much worse. There must have been some sort of miracle to clean that up.
