Awesome Garland

I woke up this morning in a great mood, which made me realize I’ve been in a bad mood recently.  Anyway, I caught up on a tiny percentile of my blog reading and saw this awesome nook and garland on The Purl Bee.  I love those garlands and they look really really easy to make.  Also, we went to Ikea over the weekend and bought those chairs in red… pictures to follow eventually.

Oooh … I can’t wait to see the chairs. I have been debating buying those for three years or holding out for the McCobb Planner chairs. Perhaps this will accelerate my glacial decision making (Sean would be sooooo grateful!)

Ha, I realized the other day I’ve been in a funk too! Maybe I need more color in my life?? Love the garland.

    Those garlands are amazing!
Having them in my kitchen would cheer me out of a crabby mood any day.

I love this pretty little garland. I think if I put it up, it would never come down. This could be a very good thing in my all cream-colored apartment (we’ve been forbidden from painting walls).

Can’t wait to see the chairs and I’m sure they will be amazing in your apt, but I thought this was the year you were branching away from red?!

Oh, I loooove that nook! Thank you for sharing. I have been so behind in my blog reading. It really bothers me when I can’t visit my favorite sites because I’m so bogged down with work, but I suppose being able to visit my favorite sites because I have NO work would be worse, right?! Resolution for 2010=find balance.
